Cancer Fund For Children is also hosting an event on Saturday 9th December at The Carriage Rooms, at Montalto Estate, where once again the venue will be be transformed into a magical Winter Wonderland, as the Winter Wonderland Ball makes its much anticipated return.
Following the success of last year’s event which raised an amazing £50,000 to support local children living with cancer, we’re delighted the ball will once again return to the beautiful and ancient surroundings of Montalto Estate, one of Northern Ireland’s best kept secret.
This year’s gala ball looks set to be just as exclusive and glamorous as it has before. Guests will enjoy a champagne reception followed by a luxurious four course meal prepared by the chef and proprietor of Yellow Door Simon Dougan. Each course will be accompanied by fine wines, compliments of Drinks Inc. The evening will include the chance to win fabulous prizes before dancing the night away to Finbarr Keaveney and the Booze Brothers Band.
Joan Burden, Hospitality Manager at Cancer Fund for Children’s Short Break Centre Daisy Lodge and Chair of the charity’s Mourne Support Group said, “We are excited to announce the return of our magical Winter Wonderland Ball to Montalto Estate. Last year, 120 people from across Northern Ireland attended this event and raised over £50,000 to support local children living with cancer. We want to raise the same this year, if not more, so we can continue to help local families who have been affected by a childhood cancer diagnosis. We look forward to working with our sponsors this year to make our event fabulous; including Nicholson Wine, Drinks Inc, Yellow Door and Montalto Estate.”
Tickets for the Winter Wonderland ball are priced at £150 per person, £1,500 for a table of ten. Taking place during the festive season, Cancer Fund for Children’s gala ball is the perfect event for corporate entertaining.
