Qualification Success for North Ladies

Five North Down ladies had much to celebrate recently having successfully completed their Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD) Professional Qualifications with local centre, DMS.
Amongst industry peers throughout Northern Ireland, Betty Allen, Judith McCann, Lynsey Carson and Lyndsey Smyth received their Certificates for the CIPD Foundation Certificate in Human Resource Practice. Sonya Rooke was also presented with her Certificate for the Advanced Diploma in Human Resource Management.
Lynn Carson, Managing Director of DMS Addressed the audience: “It has been a pleasure to work with our candidates in the last 16 years and the success of the 89 individuals who have completed their CIPD qualification with DMS in the past year shows that we continue to add value to the HR&D Profession throughout industry in Northern Ireland.”
DMS were delighted to be supported by members of the local CIPD Northern Ireland branch as well as John McGurk, Head of CIPD for Scotland and Northern Ireland, who presented candidates with their certificates. John added, “It’s my great pleasure to commend and celebrate the achievements of DMS Candidates in achieving CIPD Qualifications. Your achievement is one to be proud of.”
It was an extra special evening for Sonya Rooke, HR Consultant, who was announced Joint-Winner of the Advanced Level Qualifications Outstanding Achievement Award. “Receiving the Special Award was both a surprise and an absolute delight.” Sonya added.
The Awards evening was also an opportunity for DMS to announce approval to offer the NEW Learning and Development Qualifications at Foundation and Intermediate Level. Lynn Carson explained: “CIPD have introduced new contemporary Learning & Development Qualifications to provide knowledge and understanding of the latest thinking in L&D, essential skills and to be more effective at work and add value to your L&D function. As a centre we are in a fantastic position to offer the full suite of CIPD Qualifications at all levels with flexibility and choice, starting all year round.”
