A bevvy of beauties descended upon Bangor as the fourteeth and final local heat of the Therapie Miss Northern Ireland contest came to Betty Black’s on Sunday 26th April. Girls from across the country competed for their place at the Miss Northern Ireland final in front of an astute judging panel which included Joleen Stewert of ACA Models, General Manager of Betty Black’s, Neil Gorman, former Miss Northern Ireland, Zoe Salmon, current Miss Northern Ireland, Rebekah Shirley and Lauren Aiken, representative of Therapie Clinic.

Rachel Wallace a 22 year old student from Castlerock who was crowned “Miss Betty Black’s” and Alexandra Kelly from Newtownabbey a 17 year old student was chosen as “Miss Bangor”. Both girls will now go forward to the grand final in Belfast’s Europa Hotel in May and stand a chance of winning the coveted title of the, ‘Therapie Miss Northern Ireland 2015.’

Competition organiser Alison Clarke, “It was great to be back at Betty Black’s again year, and what a brilliant night had by all. Bangor never disappoints with the calibre of girls who enter, once again it was a fabulous night and a huge congratulations to the winning girls and a big thank you to all who came along!”

Guest judge Lauren Aiken, representative of Therapie Clinic, this year’s title sponsor added, “What an amazing night at Betty Black’s. I have been told this heat has always been a strong one and it certainly didn’t disappoint. The atmosphere was brilliant and all the girls looked beautiful. Congratulations to Rachel Wallace and Alexandra Kelly, and a big thank you for all who made the night so special.”
