Trackars Healthcare invests £50k in Expansion

Northern Ireland healthcare provider, Trackars Healthcare, has just announced plans for expansion of its business that could see up to 40 new jobs created in the South Down area.
Trackars Healthcare, which this year celebrates ten years in business, has invested almost £50,000 in the expansion, which has included the opening of new office premises and a rebrand for the company.
Headquartered in Crossgar, the new office premises for Trackars will be based on St. Patrick’s Avenue, Downpatrick and will be a third satellite office, joining two existing offices based in Fintona and Belfast; bringing the number of offices to four.
Operating throughout Northern Ireland, the business currently employs 250 staff members, comprising of 150 full-time and 100 part-time roles. It is hoped thatthe creation of the Downpatrick office will open up opportunities for further employment throughout the South Down region with Trackars currently hoping to create up to 16 part-time and 24 full-time positions of employment including care coordinator, domiciliary care and nursing roles.
Speaking about the investment, Patricia Casement, Managing Director of Trackars comments:

Speaking on the planned expansion of Trackars services, MP for South Down, Margaret Ritchie, adds:
“There is a huge demand for at home nursing care in the South Down area, with the majority of care seekers now expressing a preference for independent living and support in their own homes.
“I am thrilled that Trackars, a local company and the leading care providers for people who wish to receive care at home, are expanding into South Down.”
Founded in 2006 by Registered Nurse, Patricia Casement, Trackars provides healthcare and nursing services to users throughout Northern Ireland as well as providing staffing solutions to the Belfast, Northern, South Eastern, Southern and Western Health and Social Care Trusts in Northern Ireland.
