All Aboard For The Downpatrick Saturday Club!
September 2014 - The East Down Advertiser
Children from Barnardo’s NI Saturday Clubs recently enjoyed a day out to the Ulster Transport Museum at Cultra.
The visit was arranged in partnership with National Museums NI whose link with Barnardo’s NI has seen over 600 children and young people from our services enjoy visits to its four museums during the past nine months (Ulster Museum, Folk and Transport Cultra, Armagh County Museum and the Ulster American Folk Park, Omagh).
These children from our Downpatrick Saturday Club which runs activities and outings for disabled children and their brothers and sisters, funded by the Health and Social Board Childcare Partnership, were also joined by the Gilnahirk, Saintfield and Hannahstown Saturday clubs - and just before their visit our Cookstown G-old Sure Start also paid a special visit.
