Holywood Chamber and Ulster Rugby’s Shane Logan Host Charity Lunch For Disadvantaged Youths

Holywood Chamber of Commerce hosted their annual charity lunch on Thursday, 9 November to raise money for local charity ‘Include Youth’ with the help Ulster Rugby’s CEO, Shane Logan.

Holywood Chamber President, John Hogg welcomed over sixty people to the charity lunch at the Royal North of Ireland Yacht club in Cultra. Holywood Chamber Members and special guests, including the Mayor of Ards and North Down Borough Council, Councillor Robert Adair, gathered together to enjoy a two course lunch and hear from guest speaker Shane Logan.

Guest Speaker Shane Logan, CEO of Ulster Rugby, said:

“Include Youth support young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and Ulster Rugby is delighted to have them as our charity of the year. I want to thank each and every member of the Holywood Chamber of Commerce who came along and contributed to today’s charity lunch.”

The money raised for Include Youth will go towards the development and employability of young disadvantaged people in Northern Ireland.

Holywood Chamber President John Hogg added:

“The Holywood Chamber of Commerce Charity Lunch is always a great opportunity for our members to get together and raise vital funds for a well-deserving local charity such as Include Youth. I am delighted with the turn-out today and want to thank Shane Logan from Ulster Rugby for his fantastic speech and for everyone’s heart-warming generosity.”
