Commemorative NHS Flowerbed Unveiled in Ballymenoch Park

December 2020 - The North Down Advertiser

Ards & North Down DUP Councillor Stephen Dunne at the new NHS and Key Worker 'Thank You' Flowerbed at Ballymenoch Park, Holywood.

A new flowerbed has been unveiled in Ballymenoch Park, Holywood, to thank the tireless work of the NHS and Key Workers throughout the Covid-19 pandemic.

Commenting on the unveiling of the flowerbed, Ards & North Down DUP Councillor Stephen Dunne said:

“I was delighted to support this proposal through the Council recently and I think it has turned out very well. Our NHS Heroes and Key Workers continue to play such a vital role in getting us through what has been an incredibly challenging year for everyone, particularly for those who have tragically lost loved ones.

“I trust that this new Flowerbed will act as a positive thank you message to both acknowledge and encourage everyone involved within our wonderful National Health Service and our Key Workers. This is a thank you for everyone that including shop assistants, emergency services, postal workers, cleaners and many other key workers who have made many sacrifices during 2020 and as well know we are not yet out of the woods during this terrible pandemic. I would like to commend Ards and North Down Borough Council for getting this flowerbed in place before the year is over.”
