The Creative Peninsula, an annual programme of visual Arts and Crafts events organised by Ards Borough Council, has closed with a grand finale series of four weekly Creative Development Seminars.

The Creative Development Seminars were a new series of four events, a new addition to the event this year, focussed on best practice, developing export opportunities, branding and digital marketing.

The seminars, delivered free of charge, were targeted at creative professionals and graduates in the North Down and Ards council areas.

Heather Parker, Craft Development Manager for Ards Borough Council, said, “The Creative Development Seminars provided an opportunity for creative professionals and graduates to network while developing their business skills in branding, best practice and export opportunities”, she continued, “we concluded the series with an unique event, a digital dinner party, where guests enjoyed fine food and entertaining dinner speeches from leading digital experts. It is our hope that the creative industries in our region will continue to flourish as a result of these business focused seminars.”
